Kai Khosrow: spoilers

Quhyar: Eldest son of Hero King Kai Khosrow. Older brother of second king Osroes I. Killed by his younger brother for the rulership. Though he did not personally succeed the throne, four of his descendants are listed among the kings of Pars.

Osroes I: Second king of Pars. Younger son of Hero King Kai Khosrow. Killed his older brother Quhyar, seized the throne, and crossed spears with his father upon the plains of Mazandaran.

Tigranes (king): Fourth king of Pars. Son of Hero King Kai Khosrow’s elder son Quhyar.

Osroes II: Third king of Pars. Son of second king Osroes I, grandson of Kai Khosrow.

Cinnamus: Fifth king of Pars. Son of fourth king Tigranes. Father of sixth king Gotarzes I. Great-grandson of Kai Khosrow. His consort was the famed beauty Elbru*.

Boran: Son of fourth king Tigranes, younger brother of fifth king Cinnamus. Great-grandson of Kai Khosrow.

Pardul: Son of fourth king Tigranes, younger brother of fifth king Cinnamus. Great-grandson of Kai Khosrow.

Peroz: Son of third king Osroes. Great-grandson of Kai Khosrow.

Gotarzes I: Sixth king of Pars. Son of fifth king Cinnamus. Great-great-grandson of Kai Khosrow. His only son Varhran died half a year after his birth, ending the line with him.

Artabaz: Seventh king of Pars. Grandson of the fourth king Tigranes, son of Boran. Great-great-grandson of Kai Khosrow. Younger cousin of sixth king Gotarzes I. Died young.

Yazdegerd: Grandson of third king Osroes II and son of Peroz. Father of eighth king Osroes III. Great-great-grandson of Kai Khosrow.

Varhran: Son of sixth king Gotarzes I. Died half a year after his birth.

Tigranes: Son of seventh king Artabaz.

Osroes III: Eighth king of Pars. Great-grandson of third king Osroes II, grandson of Peroz, son of Yazdegerd. Due to the early passing of seventh king Artabaz, successorship of the throne passed to the branch family.

Andragoras I: Ninth king of Pars. Eldest son of eighth king Osroes III. Older brother of tenth king Katolikos.

Katolikos (king): Tenth king of Pars. Second son of eighth king Osroes III. Younger brother of ninth king Andragoras I. Enduring the great blow from the loss of his heir Argash, lived to eighty years of age.

Vologases: Son of ninth king Andragoras I. Father of eleventh king Osroes IV.

Argash: Son of tenth king Katolikos. Deeply interested in arts and literature. When named crown prince at eighteen, fell in love with a portrait of Elbru* and wasted away from excessive longing.

Katolikos: Grandson of ninth king Andragoras I, son of Vologases. Older brother of Hecaton and eleventh king Osroes IV. Father of Barjuk.

Hecaton: Grandson of ninth king Andragoras I, son of Vologases. Older brother of eleventh king Osroes IV, younger brother of Katolikos.

Osroes IV: Eleventh king of Pars. Grandson of ninth king Andragoras I, son of Vologases. Younger brother of Katolikos and Hecaton. Wedded to the granddaughter of tenth king Katolikos. Favored his nephew over his own son, resulting in internal strife as the court splintered over the matter of succession.

Barjuk: Great-grandson of ninth king Andragoras I. Grandson of Vologases, son of Katolikos. Nephew of eleventh king Osroes IV, but was favored over Osroes’s son and was even to be adopted as heir; doubts were raised over his parentage, triggering conflict at court.

Andragoras II: Twelfth king of Pars. Son of eleventh king Osroes IV.

Yazdegerd I: Thirteenth king of Pars. Son of twelfth king Andragoras II.

Atoul: Son of twelfth king Andragoras II, younger brother of thirteenth king Yazdegerd I.

Phraates: Son of thirteenth king Yazdegerd I.

Ohrmazd: Fourteenth king of Pars. Grandson of twelfth king Andragoras II.

Yazdegerd II: Fifteenth king of Pars. Father of sixteenth king Gotarzes II. Grandfather of Andragoras III.
